My friends have always teased me for being "unfeminine". Guys are always surprised when I told them that I do not like shopping. They've always thought that shopping is every girl's national hobby.
I've only just started taking a bit more time to shop for clothes and accessories recently, and that's because my new job requires that I dress up a bit more. Otherwise, I usually shop like a guy. I know what I want to buy, I head straight for the place, I buy it and out I go. Window shopping is quite a waste of time, I feel.
I get excited about electronic gadgets, books and CDs but tune out when my girl friends start chatting about cosmetics, shoes and handbags. I don't have a sweet tooth like most girls do, so I don't go gaga over chocolates and desserts. Many of my male friends are baffled by this 'phenomenon' and my girl friends, well - they have already resigned themselves to the fact that I am a lousy shopping kaki. Haha....
Recently I am hooked on an equally 'guy' hobby - Paper Craft. Check out these wonderful vintage cars that you can make out of paper. I am currently working on a VW Minivan and a classic Mini Cooper. You can download them from Papercar.net.
Too easy? Try these super cool Yamaha motorbikes papercraft.
For the girls, maybe this would tickle you - an iPOD Mini paper craft. How cool is that? Make one for your friends - just for laughs! :P
It's no wonder my buddies think that I am really not a girl - inside. I cannot help it if I do not like girlie stuff. But I am 100%, absolutely, definitely, really a girl. :)
