Actually, what you didn't really know is I am actually very shy, self-conscious and rebellious. Of course that didn't really come across in this blog. I suspect I am beginning to display the traits of someone having a dissociative identity disorder.

There seems to be multiple Elvinas edging their way out to voice their individualistic opinions on this blog. Ya...I freak myself out sometimes.

Which is the real me?

I don't have the answer really. I think I am going mad.

“My great mistake, the fault for which I can't forgive myself,
is that one day I ceased my obstinate pursuit
of my own individuality.” ~ Oscar Wilde

Hey, I knew u were shy, self-conscious and rebellious.

Somehow always try to put on a brave front yet on the inside is someone who is soft and easily hurt. Alot like one of those animals with shells, Eg. Mussles, snails or cockles.

Probably due to a loss of a very influential figure when you were very young. correct???

hahahhaha....

Defiant Symmetry: Thanks for dropping by and hope you find the light at the end of the tunnel soon!

Dorian Gray: I think my various identities are displayed all at about the same time to the same group of people. So I am mad ya?

Yaohui: Better to be late than never at all....

petfanatic: I am beginning to feel that you are a smart ass. And that makes me depressed.

Starlandliu: If you do have a johari window, I will go click click. :)

Prince Romp: Ah....you think too highly of yours truly. The negative truths may be too much for you to handle.

Zenekz: Well...that will really open the pandora's box. If given a choice, I am sure everyone would tick all the adjectives in the Nohari Window haha.

Anonymous: I think it would be good to intro yourself first? Or at least give yourself a nick? Maybe then we can get a proper conversation going. Feels weird talking to someone anonymous. The feeling is equivalent to talking to the mirror actually.

Is that how you are? Or how you wish to be seen?

Never having met you in person, my impressions of you are purely virtual and based on your musings here and comments in other places. So, you can easily argue that I haven't a clue what I'm talking about when I try to describe you ;-)

I would not say you are shy. Insecure, probably, and you try to pass this off as shyness.

Self-concious? Sure, I'll give you that.

Rebellious? Well, you certainly don't seem to fit the role of a good compliant Singaporan girl, so I guess this is somewhat true.

Why do I think you are silly? Well, it is not in any pejorative sense. For me, silly conjures up images of cheerful playfullness.

Richard: Haha I guessed as much. You are not the only one. My girlfriends feel the same too. They said I am goofy too. I love it. I like making people laugh - so being silly and blur and goofy is good. :P

Insecurity? I think there are some hints of that in every one, especially women. Not in all, but in most.....

but isn't this wat the journey of life is supposed to be? The exploration of the self? :O) we're all in it together to discover who we really are.
we have our different moods, that's all. sometimes we're shy, sometimes we're bold. Doesn't make it any less YOU. heehee!

Sometimes I also think of myself in the same way. But I guess it's an auto coping mechanism in us rather than a disorder. My daily Time Alone does keep me sane. :)

Yes, which is the real me? Sometimes I ask myself that question too. I love that quote from Oscar Wilde, it's just makes so much sense.

Just happened to drop by through Sonic's ScratchPad. Really like your musings!
