Photo Blog: Hong Kong (Day One)

As promised, here are the photos of my HK trip. My girlfriends were sweet enough to join me there after my business meetings, and I extended my trip so that we can explore HK to our hearts' desire.

Being the obssessed planner, I swept all available maps from the airport and hotel and laid them all out on the bed the evening my friends arrived. Armed with a pen and paper, I poured through the descriptions and locations of all the cool and exciting places I wanna go, or show my girls, and generated a 5-day itinerary in one night!

Day One: Unexplored Territories

Being the adventurous traveller, I suggested exploring the outskirts of HK - places where none of us have ever been before. Taking directions from the hotel, we hopped onto a bus that will take us to Aberdeen for dim sum.

The classic HK double decker bus!

Great place for a drink and resting our tired feet.

Just like everyone who came before us, we left a souvenir on the ceiling.

Another artistic attempt of mine to take a black & white photo

I am working on the sizes of the other photos. Stay tuned for Day Two...... :P

Even though I have been HK for 6 to 7x, I have never visited Stanley Market.

Your pic make me wants to go there.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? People wrote on notes and paste them on the ceiling? So radically fun! More more! Cant wait for the next post =)

You look like you were having too much fun to be "working".

So long never see you...

Did you put on weight, or is it my eyes playing tricks on me?

Oh well, it's all in the right areas.

=P Looking Good.

Cheers

Holas.

Did your itinerary take you to Mong Kok? It got my vote for most atmospheric place in Hong Kong the last time I visited. Like walking into a triad movie and a Wong Kar Wai movie at the same time. Nice.

How are you?

Hey all,
Thanks for checking out these pics. Still in the process of resizing day 2-5 so pls give me some time ... :P

For those of you who like what you see, yes Hk is definitely worth the visit. I bought nice cheap sexy tops from Stanley Market and some nice accessories so it's really quite sweet. Never knew the unexplored territories could be so fun.

Kok Seng: Wow...long lost friend! How have you been? I am great...new job, new look, haha... Yes I went to MongKok but in the daytime...so not so triad looking yet. But I have been to HK a couple of times, tats why this time round I wanted see something different. watch out for more upcoming pix - I took my friends on a journey from HK to Shenzhen (China) on a train ride!

Glad you all love the pics! Will be back soon with more. :)

As I look
Beyond the ripples of my reflections
To examine my inner self;
The ripples begin to fade . . .
As the reflection lays beside me
Grasping my hand,
The inner warmth shields me
And the vision of my reflection appears
I see...
ermm..

the black & white photo is a bit too gloomy. perhaps if you try to play with its 'brightness' or 'contrast'?
